Resumen

The purpose of this Act is to ensure the financing of the Ontario Corn Producers’ Association to enable it to promote the production of corn and improve its marketing by: a) encouraging and improving all phases of corn production and marketing; b) co-operating with government and governmental agencies; c) holding meetings to consider related issues; d) co-operating with agricultural associations of producers ; e) collecting, arranging, assembling and disseminating information; and f) making representations at all levels. Every person who sells grain or corn shall be deemed to be the holder of a licence, except in case of default in payment of licence fees. Section 6 sets out the regulations that the Lieutenant Governor in Council may make, such as fixing the amount of licence fees, etc. The text consists of 7 sections.
