Governmental Decree No. 734 validating the Strategy of promotion of school meals.

The scope of this Governmental Decree shall be to ensure accessikbility of healthy nutrition of pupils of elementary schools by ensuring provision thereof with school meals. Availability of school meals shall be considered a component of national food security. The main objectives of the Strategy shall be set forth as follows: (a) meeting the demand of educational insitutions in meals complying with established nutritional standards; (b) strengthening state guarantees of availability of high quality shoool meals; (c) creation of conditions for sustainable development; and (d) protection against risks to food security.
