This Governmental Decision enters into force on the day following its official publication.
Resumen

This Governmental Decree establishes the procedure for subsoil management reducing environmental losses and preventing irreversible environmental impact. Monitoring indicators shall be developed in conjunction with subsoil geological survey, mineralogy work program, geological exploration program, mineralogy project, pre-impact environmental impact assessment, in order to reduce environmental losses and prevent irreversible impact originating from subsoil management. The initial data for the preparation of the monitoring program shall be the data on the actual environmental pollution submitted in the preliminary application for the environmental impact assessment. Environmental monitoring refers to the types of negative impacts specified in the environmental management plans in the application for the preliminary environmental impact assessment, in the main assessment report. The structure and content of the monitoring plan are contained in Annex 1. The summary annual report shall be submitted by the subsoil managers to the authorized body by February 20 of the year following each year (except for the subsoil managers who monitor the environmental pollution with automatic measuring devices). The sample of summary report is contained in the Annex 2.
