There are hereby established rules governing the production and placing on the market of fresh meat destined to human consumption obtained from bovine animals, swines, sheep, goats and domestic solipeds. Schedule I defines the conditions for the approval of establishments, slaughterhouses, cutting plants, cold stores. Further, it makes provisions in matter of: hygiene of the premises, equipment and personnel; ante-mortem health inspection; slaughter, cutting and meat-handling hygiene; post-mortem health inspection; requirements for meat intended for cutting; health control of cut meat and stored meat; health marking; wrapping and packaging of fresh meat; health certificate; storage; transport.
