The Regulations place restrictions on the marketing of products covered by the Regulations. They prohibit any advertising of products, the supply of free samples or any other promotion of the products. They also prohibit the use of health facilities or health workers to promote the products but allow the relevant authority to permit donations of products if certain specified conditions are met. The Regulations further regulate information of breast feeding including presentation and labelling of breast milk substitutes and the labelling of designated products, i.e. certain products used in relation with baby food and other products designated by the Minister.
