Resumen The Act provides for the registration of factories, the health, welfare and safety of persons employed in factories, offices, shops and other places, and matters connected therewith. The text provides for registration of existing and new factories, renewal of certificate of registration, alteration and building of new factories. The text provides for notification of accidents and dangerous occurrences, industrial diseases and cleanliness. The Act further lays out provision for facilities for all persons employed in every factory, office or shop such as drinking water, accommodation for clothing, sitting facilities and sanitary conveniences. The Act further outlines requirements for reduction of noise and vibrations, prohibiting of lifting excessive weights, first aid and medical supervision. Other parts of the Act refer to safety regulations, dangerous conditions and practices and offences and legal proceedings.
