The Law's specific goals encompass: (i) enhancing the transparency of environmental information in Israel; (ii) incentivizing businesses to curtail emissions and the release of pollutants and waste into the environment; (iii) establishing an invaluable instrument for decision-making, research, and the formulation of a sustainable policy grounded in environmental equity. These objectives encompass (a) obligating factories to report emissions and the transfer of pollutants and waste from their facilities into the environment; (b) establishing a publicly accessible registry containing information on emissions and transfers of pollutants and waste from factories to the environment; (c) compiling an inventory encompassing data on pollutants and waste discharged or transferred from diverse sources into the environment.
