Resumen This Act provides for concrete measures and contribution of the State of Schleswig-Holsteinare for achieving the country's climate protection goals. The Act is aiming to meet the national goal for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions nationwide by at least 65 percent by 2030 compared to 1990; by at least 88 percent by 2040 and be reduced to such an extent by 2045 that national net greenhouse gas neutrality is achieved. The Act formulates reduction in greenhouse gas emissions for the land use, land use change and forestry sector in Schleswig-Holstein. The state government is obliged to include these emissions in the annual monitoring, to set up a program for the protection of the moors and to report at least once per legislative period on the measures it has implemented and planned for biological climate protection and the measures it has implemented and planned for the construction and preservation of humus in the soil. The State provides for promotion of the expansion of photovoltaic systems for power generation, especially in built-up areas, suitable roof areas in new buildings and renovations of more than 10 percent of the roof areas. In addition, an obligation to use renewable energies in the heat supply of the building stock is to be introduced. It is also planned to equip state properties with photovoltaic systems for renovations and new buildings in the future. In construction projects, the state relies on renewable, recycled or recyclable building materials.
