Resumen The present document contains Denmark's first comprehensive and ambitious nature policy with concrete efforts to create more and better nature – also in the sea. It constitutes Denmark's biodiversity strategy, which follows up on the UN's and EU's goals for biodiversity in 2020. The government will work to stop the decline in nature's biodiversity by 2020. The Plan's vision is that, in 2050, Denmark will be a greener country with a more diverse nature where, especially the internationally protected areas, the larger forests, the national parks and the most important habitats for endangered species – also in the sea – are more closely linked. Nature should be linked across the country, so that connections are created between city parks, green areas outside the cities, meadows and pastures, the hedges, the open moors, the nature in the forests, the coasts and the sea.
