Resumen

This Regulation deals with a district manager's authority to delegate and is divided into two parts, being Definition and Authority to Delegate. Under this Regulation a distinction is drawn between functions (given under the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act) that a district manager may delegate, and the functions that can not be so delegated. Those functions a district manager must retain responsibility for are section 40 of the Act, giving effect to operational plans, and section 41, approval of plans or amendment and designating an area as a community watershed. This Regulation outlines the specific matters that section 40 and 41 relate to. Of interest, this Regulation does not limit the ability of a district manager to delegate his or her functions respecting an amendment to a silviculture prescription.
