The Decree implements provisions of the Plant Health Act and deals with a wide variety of matters regarding plant health including: registration of producers, certification of plant health (also for exportation), control of pest ad diseases, packaging of plants and plant material, measures for specific pests and diseases affecting plants, placing on the market of and international trade in planting material, phytosanitary import and export control and competent authorities.
