Decree of the Minister of Marine and Fisheries of the R.I. No. Kep.50/Men/2012 approving the National Plan of Action to Prevent and to Combat Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing, 2012-2016 (NPOA).

This National Plan of Action to Prevent and Combat IUU Fishing is intended as a reference for each organizational unit in the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries as an effort to prevent and combat IUU fishing activities in accordance with their duties and functions, and as a reference to conduct coordination among other relevant ministries / institution on preventing and combating IUU fishing. The purpose of the establishment of the National Plan of Action to Prevent and Combat IUU fishing is to support the management and fisheries development in orderly, responsible, and sustainable manner.
