Entry into force notes: This Decree enters into force 30 days after its publication.

Resumen: This Decree, consisting of 8 articles, gives the National Institute for Fisheries Development (INDP) the status of Delegate Body of the National Institute of Statistics (ODINE). It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution entitled to update the list of artisanal and industrial fishing vessels, to elaborate statistics of fish caught and the artisanal and industrial fishing efforts, to produce statistics on artisanal and industrial fishing vessels, to elaborate statistics on fishing licences, and to produce statistics on the biology of the halieutic resources.
