The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of Chernevichi biosphere reserve: 1) any activity causing change of the natural landscape and hydrological regime, including peat extraction; 2) ploughing up the natural hayfields; 3) waste disposal; 4) grazing in the forests; 5) industrial collection (procurement) of non-timber forest products and medicinal herbs; 6) clearing of riverside natural growth except for recreational areas; 7) setting up tourist camps; 8) all types of felling except for sanitary felling; 9) introduction of alien forest species. The proclamation of Chernevichi biosphere reserve shall not entail the expropriation of land. The regional executive bodies shall be the managing authority of Chernevichi biosphere reserve. The damages caused to Chernevichi biosphere reserve shall be compensated by the legal and natural persons in conformity with the modalities established by law.
