It shall not be applicable to tobacco. Packaging must comply with sanitary requirements, rules and regulations and hygienic requirements in accordance with the Annex 2. Packaging by mechanical properties, chemical resistance and tightness must comply with the requirements established by mandatory requirements in the sphere of technical regulation. In the process of transportation and storage packaging materials must be protected from external impact (climatic, mechanical etc.). Joint transportation of packaging materials and toxic, chemical substances, fuels and lubricants, oil products, as well as cargo that have a stable (extraneous) smell shall be prohibited. Packaging materials shall be packed in packaging material to ensure their safety, protection from pollution and atmospheric precipitation during transportation and storage. Labelling must contain symbol attesting that packaging material are destined for contact with foodstuffs and symbol with letter and numeric code of material used for manufacturing of package in accordance with the Annex 3.
