Entry into force notes: This Ministerial Decree enters into force after the date of its official publication.

Resumen: This Decree sets forth the modalities of collection, treatment and recycling of packaging waste related to industrial packaging materials. Treatment of packaging waste shall be performed at special waste management and treatment sites. Use of waste treatment technologies causing formation of resistant pollutants exceeding established rates shall be prohibited.
