Resumen

This Decree applies to fishing by Norwegian vessels in specified areas in the Skagerak, the EU-zone and the Norwegian Economic Zone north of the 62nd parallel. In accordance with section 2, vessels shall notify the Directorate of Fisheries on: start of fishing, weekly catch and days of fishing, and the termination of fishing activities. In each of these stages catch quantities shall be reported observing FAO codes. Article 2 also introduces a duty to report entry into the fishing grounds. A copy of the entry notification shall be supplied to the landing station. Infringement of provisions of the present Decree shall be punished in accordance with section 53 of the Marine Fisheries Act of 1983. Seizure shall take place in accordance with section 54.
