Resumen

The scope of this Decree is to regulate fishing for young Norwegian herring (herring hatched in the spring) in 2006. It specifies conditions of participation for Norwegian vessels (use of specified gear, registration requirements, vessels must be under 27,5 meters of total length, have a cargo capacity of maximum 1500 hl, prior participation in same fishing, registration of owner in Fishermen's Register). The right of participation may be transferred on other vessels in specified circumstances. Owners of vessels that are not allowed to participate may, subject to conditions set out in article 7, participate in fishing with net or a seine operated from the shore.
