Resumen

This Regulation establishes duties, functions, rights, responsibility, functioning, data collection, reporting and accounting of Inspection for control over the use of potable water subordinated to the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities in relation to the use of potable water. Inspection for control over the use of potable water subordinated to the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities is authorized state institution competent in the field of potable water supply and sewerage. The main tasks of the Inspection shall be as follows: (a) rational and efficient production, supply and trade, use of potable water and effluent waste water; (b) enterprises providing potable water supply and sewerage services shall be subject to state control over technological audit with a view of improving technological process and energy saving water supply and sewerage technologies; (c) state control over compliance with technical rules and regulations of facilities arbitrarily connected to the potable water supply and sewerage system; (d) state control over potable water supply and sewerage facilities with a view of preventing accidents, measures for the purchase of potable water and accounting of losses; and (e) state control over groundwater and wells.
