Resumen This Decree-Law establishes the principles and rules that govern Sucos' community development planning. Community development planning is a participatory mechanism for promoting community development, through the involvement of its members in identifying challenges, establishing goals and defining specific strategies and actions, with the aim of improving socio-economic conditions and environmental aspects. Acts carried out within the scope of community development planning comply with the law and the administrative bodies involved in it must act within the limits of their respective competences and with a view to carrying out the responsibilities of the Sucos. Community development plans comply with the Strategic Development plans that affect the territory in which the community is established, namely the Municipal Development Plan in force.
