Entry into force notes
This Decree-Law shall enter into force on the day after publication.
Resumen

This Decree-Law approves the Statute of the Veterinary Institution under the Ministry Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries. Its Statute consists of 5 chapters and 1 table establishing composition, duties and competencies of this animal institution entitled to: carry out control on sanitary procedures and on animal products from the production (including animal feedstuff), enforce national policy on the animal health sector. The Statute is divided as follows: Institution definition and competencies (Chap. 1); Composition and relevant services (2); Management instruments (3); Personnel (4); Final provisions (5).
