Decree containing instructions for the Consumer Protection Agency (SFS 2007:1139).

This Decree defines duties and powers of the Consumer Protection Office. It shall be the principle administrative authority for consumer issues. It shall carry out duties as defined in various laws including the Marketing Act, the Product Safety Act and the Act on European Eco-labelling. It shall also be responsible for environment-related consumer matters and on these matters shall report to the Environmental Council of the State Nature Conservation Authority.
