This Decision enters into force on 1 July 2010.
Resumen

This Decision validates the Unified list of commodities subject to veterinary inspection, the Regulation on the procedure for veterinary inspection of commodities on the customs border of the Customs Union and on the customs territory of the Customs Union, Regulation on joint inspection of commodities subject to veterinary inspection and sampling, Unified veterinary and sanitary requirements for commodities subject to veterinary inspection and Unified forms of veterinary certificates. Unified list of commodities subject to veterinary inspection includes cattle, equine animals, swine, sheep, goats, meat and meat-based products, milk and dairy products, live fish and fish products, crustaceans, molluscs, game, cereals, soy beans and veterinary drugs. Regulation on the procedure for veterinary inspection of commodities on the customs border of the Customs Union and on the customs territory of the Customs Union shall be applicable to commodities inserted in the Unified list of commodities subject to veterinary inspection with a view of preventing introduction on the customs territory of commodities hazardous for human and animal health. It shall be mandatory for state executive bodies of the member states of the Customs Union, local government, legal and natural persons, including individual entrepreneurs engaged in manufacturing, processing, storage, recycling, transfer (transportation) by all means of transport and trade of commodities subject to veterinary inspection. State veterinary inspectors within the limits of their authority have the right to free access to the facilities for manufacturing, storage and processing facilities of commodities subject to veterinary inspection. Commodities subject to veterinary inspection in case of import, transit and transfer within the Customs Union from the territory of one Party to the territory of another Party at all times during transport shall be accompanied by veterinary certificates issued by the officials of the authorized bodies of the Parties and by the competent authorities of the exporting countries. Commodities subject to veterinary inspection can be transferred within the territory of one Party in accordance with the procedure envisaged by the legislation of this Party. Veterinary certificates accompanying imported commodities to the customs territory of the Customs Union that are subject to veterinary inspection shall be issued in the Russian language, as well as in the language of the exporting country and/or English language. Import, transport and use of veterinary drugs and feed additives for use in veterinary medicine in the customs territory of the Customs Union shall be carried out subject to their registration by the authorized bodies of the Parties. The Parties mutually recognize the results of registration of veterinary medicinal products and feed additives for veterinary use.
