Resumen This Regulation, consisting of 242 sections divided into 21 Parts and completed by one Schedule, has as a main objects: a) to set out the obligations of persons involved in the transport of dangerous goods by land transport, b) to reduce as far as practicable the risks of personal injury, death, property damage and environmental harm arising from the transport of dangerous goods by land transport, c) to give effect to the standards, requirements and procedures of the ADG Code so far as they apply to the transport of dangerous goods by land transport, and d) to promote consistency between the standards, requirements and procedures applying to the transport of dangerous goods by land transport and other modes of transport.
