Resumen This Act implements the State policy to protect and enhance government revenue, institute fair and transparent customs and tariff management that will efficiently facilitate international trade, protect and enhance government revenue, prevent and curtail any form of customs fraud and illegal acts, and modernize customs and tariff administration. The Act provides on payment of duty and tax on imported goods, declaration requirement, penalties for errors, powers and functions of the Bureau of Customs, customs control over good, goods to be imported through customs office, compliance with standard for export and basis of duty drawback.
