Resumen This Act regards measures dealing with counterfeit, adulterated, banned or fake, substandard or expired drug or unwholesome processed food. The Act consists of 15 sections, section 2 relating to licensing and registration in any place of drugs and poisons by the relevant authority. Offenders under this Decree will be tried under the Special Tribunal (Miscellaneous Offences) Decree 1984 (sect. 4). A Federal Task Force constituted by the relevant Minister will be charged with the enforcement of the Decree (sect. 7) and will have the power to seal up premises connected with any offence contained within this decree. The State Task Force, subject to supervision of the Federal Task Force be charged with overall responsibility of enforcing this Decree's provisions (sect. 9) and has powers to enter, seize drugs, and remove and examine suspected samples. The Act under section 10 establishes a Police Task Force; which is charged with the responsibility of assisting the Task Force, arresting suspects and conducting potential investigations.
