Council of Ministers Resolution No. 12 of 2006 on poultry farms system.

This Resolution aims to provide for the poultry farms system, and it consists of 18 articles starting with some definitions. A committee will be established to be concerned with applications for licensing and registration and following up on poultry farms (Art.2). No person shall create or expand a poultry farm unless licensed by the Ministry (Art.3). Article 5 states that poultry farms failing to meet the conditions of the bio security program issued by the Ministry cannot be granted a license. The Resolution sets forth the requirements of imports and the effective and expiration dates of licenses (Art. 6 &10). Any suspicion of the existence of any medical condition must be reported (Art.14). Any violation to the provisions of this Resolution will be penalized (Art.16).
