Resumen

Article 4 of Directive 73/404/EEC relating to detergents provides for the adoption of Directives specifying methods of testing. On this basis, the present Directive concerns the methods of testing of the biodegradability of non-ionic surfactants contained in the detergents defined in article 1 of Directive 73/404/EEC. The reference method (confirmatory test) is described with detail in the Annex attached.
