For purposes of this Act, the Chief Cotton Protection Officer or a Cotton Protection Officer may be appointed by the Public Services Commission. Growers of cotton shall register with the nearest Cotton Protection Officer within seven days of the planting of cotton. The Agricultural Officer may inspect lands of registered growers. Sale and purchase of cotton requires a licence. Licensed purchasers shall keep records of purchases of cotton. Also vendors and ginners shall keep records. Forms of applications, licences, records, etc. are prescribed in the Schedules to this Act. Restrictions are placed on the removal and sale of cotton. Texto completo Inglés Página web www.laws.gov.ag
