Resumen

These Regulations implement provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 in respect of a wide variety of matters including: franchise agreements; control of direct marketing; product labelling and trade descriptions of goods containing genetically modified organisms; control of intermediaries; auctions including a livestock, game and closed auction; compliants to the National Consumer Commission; and Standards, procedures and related matters for Commission to follow in assessing applicant for accreditation as consumer protection group. Goods containing genetically modified organisms to which this Act applies may not be produced, supplied, imported, or packaged unless a notice meeting the requirements of section 22 of the Act is applied to such good or marketing material.
