The Scientific Committee on Animal Health and Welfare shall be composed of a sub-committee on Animal Health and a sub-committee on Animal Welfare. The Scientific Committees hereby established shall be consulted in the cases laid down by Community legislation. Common working groups may be set up among the different Scientific Committees under the conditions referred to in article 2 (2). They shall replace the existing Scientific Committees listed out in article 12. An Annex laying down with further details the competences of each Scientific Committee is attached.
