Resumen

This Act makes amendments in the principal Act by amending Division 2 under Part II regarding the establishment, functions, membership, meetings, staff and reports of the National Climate Change Board; amending Section 37 regarding the management of the Climate Change and Green Growth Trust Fund; amending Section 38 on imposing levies on the domestic production or importation of synthetic nitrogen fertilisers; of fuel; of coal; and of other goods, which may contribute to the emission of greenhouse gases, calculation and collection of aforementioned levies; amending Section 38A on fees and charges; amending Section 39 on payments from the net sales of carbon credits by persons carrying out all mitigation activities into the Trust Fund; amending Division 2 under Part III on the staff of the Authority; amending the heading of Part VIA as Carbon Markets; inserting new Section 78C on the establishment of carbon markets; inserting new Section 107A on the development of standards, guidelines, manuals, forms and any other relevant documentation; and amending Schedules 1, 2 and 3 of the principal Act by the new Schedules laid down in this Act.
