The Act also defines duties of owners of affected premises to use best practicable means (defined) for the prevention of air pollution and provides for the appointment of inspectors. In the case that, in the opinion of the Central Health Committee, which is responsible for the administration of this Act, no sufficient measures have been adopted, the Committee may order the adoption of means the Committee deems necessary for the prevention of pollution.
