Certificate of protected area of regional significance, zoological (hunting) reserve for the conservation of the European hare “Veidelevsky”.

Zoological (hunting) reserve for the conservation of the European hare “Veidelevsky” is formed for the purpose of protection of the population of the European hare. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of the reserve: (a) hunting for hare; (b) construction of buildings, structures, roads and pipelines, power lines and other communications that impede the preservation, restoration and reproduction of the European brown hare (Lepus europaeus) and its habitat; (c) landfill arrangement; (d) burning of vegetation and stubble; (e) storage of pesticides, mineral fertilizers, plant protection products, growth stimulants outside specially equipped warehouses, as well as the use of mineral fertilizers without embedding them in the soil; (f) prospecting, blasting and drilling operations, exploration and mining; (g) construction and operation of waterworks; (h) arrangement of tourist sites and camps, laying of tourist routes that prevent the preservation, restoration and reproduction of the European hare and its habitat; (i) loose keeping of dogs, the use of dogs for hunting, except for certified huskies, working only for wild boar, and burrowing dogs for hunting fox; (j) movement of citizens on the territory of the reserve on ATVs, snowmobiles and motorcycles off public roads; and (k) hunting by driven shooting.
