Cabinet Council Decree No. 148 of 2000 relative to compensations to plant breeding enterprises that breed nationally important crop species.

This Decree prescribes, on the basis of section 6 a of the Act relative to the carrying out of plant breeding activities of 1977, a compensation of costs, to be paid out of the fund of the Support and Preparedness Agency, for the breeding of crops that are deemed of national importance for Finland in accordance with a plant breeding programme in the sense of article 2 of this Decree. Financial support can be granted for the breeding of plant stock of various kinds of cereals, potatoes and feeding crops.
