For the purpose of its administration, the Act establishes the South Australian Biological Control Authority (sect. 8). The Act provides for the management of target organisms (Part 2) and of agent organisms (Part 3), for special declarations of target organism and agent organisms (Part 4) and for the release of agent organisms (Part 5).
