Resumen

This Act prohibits the killing or capturing of wild rhinoceros and also prohibits the possessing, selling or buying of any parts of the rhinoceros. Additionally, the Act states that any rhinoceros killed or captured shall become the property of the State government. No person shall kill, injure, capture, or attempt to kill, injure or capture a wild rhinoceros, unless: a) in defense of himself or some other person; or b) with the permission of the State Government given in license issued under rules to be made in this behalf by the State Government. Furthermore, the Act provides for penalties for violating the provisions of the Act.
