Resumen The Government creates a Board to be called the Bangladesh Ship Reprocessing Board. The Board shall be a statutory body and shall have permanent existence and a common seal and subject to the provisions of this Act shall have power to acquire, hold and transfer property both immovable and immovable and the Board may institute suits in its own name and its A case will also be filed against. Subject to other provisions of this Act, the functions and powers of the Board shall be as follows, namely:- overall supervision of ship reprocessing operations; evaluate the performance of the yard from time to time; approval of ship reprocessing plan; approval of Ship Reprocessing Facility Plan; ensure the health and safety of workers and to eliminate risks in the workplace; Taking action to ensure ship reprocessing in an environmentally friendly manner and coordinating with relevant ministries, organizations or departments where necessary; send recommendations or proposals to the Government for the development of the ship reprocessing industry and undertake activities in accordance with the Government's directions in this regard; give recommendations to the Government on new zones or expansion of existing zones for the purpose of developing ship reprocessing industry; accept national and international cooperation in ship reprocessing activities, into agreements with domestic and foreign organizations or institutions, etc. Texto completo Inglés Página web bdlaws.minlaw.gov.bd
