This Act defines the jurisdiction of Courts of New Zealand to deal with crimes committed in the Ross Dependency and other specified parts of Antarctica. It restricts the jurisdiction of the Courts in respect of acts or omissions in Antarctica of persons who are a national of other Contracting Parties to the Antarctic Treaty (attached).
