"Biological products" means any substance, chemical, organism or micro-organism having a biological effect on animals or their products, and includes drugs and other remedies, hormones, growth promotants, fungi, bacteria, viruses or parasites capable of causing any disease in animals. Importation or introduction of any animal, animal products, biological product or any related article into Vanuatu requires a permit (sect. 3). Sections 5 and 6 specify requirements regarding necessary importation documents. No person shall import into Vanuatu, any biological product, if it is prescribed by the Minister as a prohibited product (sect. 16). The Minister for purposes of preventing the spreading of the suspected diseases may declare quarantine areas for the purposes of this Act. Texto completo Inglés
