Resumen This Regulation consists of 45 sections divided into 3 Parts. It contains provisions on licences and on the marketing of poultry products. Under section 3, lincences are required to operate a hatchery, to produce chicken, to market chicken, and to process chicken. The Board (the Alberta Chicken Producers) is responsible for granting and administering licences. The Board also sets the minimum price to be paid per kilogram to a producer for chicken marketed. The Regulation contains also provisions on premises requirements (sect. 29), on market quotas (sect. 11) and on organic chicken production (sect. 28).
