Resumen The provisions of this Ordinance shall have effect for the purpose of securing that owners and occupiers of agricultural land fulfil their responsibilities to the community to manage and farm the land so as to prevent erosion and ruination of the soil. Section 4 describes the condition in which the owner or occupier shall be deemed to have fulfilled the duty aforementioned. Supervision of owners or occupiers may be imposed by the Superintendent of Agriculture, who may make an order for this purpose (sect. 5). Duties and powers of the Superintendent in this respect are outlined in section 6. The Superintendent shall by notice in writing served on the person to whom the order relates give directions as to the management and farming of the land affected. The governor-general shall divide Saint Vincent in agricultural areas and appoint for each area an Agricultural Area Committee.
