Materia Agricultura y desarrollo rural Palabra clave Productos agrícolas Comercio interior Cooperativa/organización de productores Subvención/incentivo Área geográphica Americas, Ártico, Asia y Pacifico, Pacífico Oriental, América del Norte, Atlántico Norte Resumen Under this Act the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food may, with the approval of the Governor in Council, make agreements with a cooperative associations processors or selling agencies, for purposes of an undertaking by the Minister, that if the average wholesale price of an agricultural product of any grade or quality produced during the year and delivered to a cooperative association, processor or selling agency under only one cooperative plan is less than the initial payment together with the actual processing, transport and selling costs, there shall be paid to the cooperative association, processor or selling agency an amount calculated on the basis of the initial payment together with mentioned costs. A "Cooperative plan" is an agreement or arrangement for the marketing of agricultural products that provides for equal returns to primary producers for agricultural products of the like grade and quality and other payments. An agreement may include a provision that the Minister may on such notice as he deems fair and reasonable require that the delivery of an agricultural product to a cooperative association, processor or selling agency be stopped with the result that Minister shall not be liable in respect of any agricultural product delivered subsequent to the notice.
