Agricultural development has ten functions: 1. Development of human resources; 2. Food security; 3. Strengthening family resilience; 4. Potential energy security (bioenergy development); 5. Poverty alleviation and equitable development; 6. Services of the natural environment; 7. Potential for the development of bioindustry; 8. Creation of a climate conducive to development; 9.
