Inspection of animals pursuant to section 2 shall be carried out by veterinarian or other person appointed by the Government under section 3. Sampling may be carried out on animals and carcasses of animals, milk and other materials that may be prescribed by the Government. Sections 4, 4a and 4b grant powers to the Government to regulate a variety of matters relating to animal hygiene. Section 5 specifies regulation-making powers with respect to marking and registration of animals, whereas section 6 concerns the control of milk.
