Resumen This Act establishes the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau as a special service, created to combat corruption in public and economic life, particularly in public and local government institutions as well as to fight against activities detrimental to the State’s economic interest. The tasks of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau include identifying, preventing and detecting crimes against the activities of state institutions and local government, the judiciary, financing of political parties if related to corruption or activities detrimental to the economic interests of the State, the rules of sports competition, trade in medicines, foodstuffs for special nutritional uses, products medical services and prosecuting their perpetrators.
