Act No. 7.652 regulating the registration of vessels.

This Act regulates the register of vessels, maritime rights, as well as fees, charges and royalties to be paid on maritime sector. It consists of 37 articles establishing that all vessels (except military vessels) must be registered by competent authority in official books, specifying all information concerning such vessels. This Act establishes vessel requirements to be satisfied in order to be included in the aforementioned register under the competence of the Port Authority. It also establishes controls to be carried out and sanctions to be paid by offenders.
