Guidelines for the inscription of cultural and natural properties on the list of World Heritage in Danger Tipo de documento Decision Número de referencia IX.27 Fecha Dic 13, 1982 FuenteUNEP, InforMEA Estado Activo Materia Especies silvestres y ecosistemas Tratado Convención para la Protección del Patrimonio Mundial, Cultural y Natural (Nov 23, 1972) Reunión 6e session du Comité Página web whc.unesco.org Resumen During the discussion that ensued on the draft criteria and procedure for the inscription of properties on the List of World Heritage in Danger, several amendments were suggested to the text in paragraph 5.5 of the IUCN/ICOMOS document which was proposed for insertion in the "Operational guidelines for the implementation of the World Heritage Convention". These amendments related to the difficulty of inscribing properties on the List of World Heritage in Danger when major operations were not required to protect the property and when the State concerned did not require assistance under the Convention. The Committee decided, however, to adapt the guidelines in their present form and to request the Bureau to examine the proposed amendments at its next meeting. The text of these guidelines is attached in Annex II.
