Requests IUCN and the World Heritage Centre to gather and assess information on the state of conservation of East Rennell (Solomon Islands) and, if necessary, organize a joint UNESCO-IUCN mission to the property, utilizing expertise from the region to ensure that it is cost-effective;2. Requests IUCN and the World Heritage Centre to determine the state of preparation of the Resource Management Plan for the property, and the draft national World Heritage Protection Bill, as requested by the Committee at the time of inscription of the property on the World Heritage List in 1998;3. Requests IUCN and the World Heritage Centre to present a state of conservation report for examination by the World Heritage Committee at its 28th session in 2004.
