Resumen

The Fifth Meeting of the Parties decided in Dec. V/17:

To note with appreciation the work by the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel regarding the feasibility of banning or restricting the import of products produced with, but not containing, controlled substances;
That it is not feasible to impose a ban or restriction on the import of such products under the Protocol at this stage;
To request the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel to review this issue at regular intervals.
